Prima Moreau (nee Maurice) passed away peacefully at Sara Vista on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 in her 94^th year.  Prima was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Moreau.  Dear mother of Rita Hermsen (John), Louise Copeman (the late William), Michele Moreau (Janice) and Leo Moreau (Alida).  Grandmother of Lisa, John, Charles (Sabrina), Amanda, Nicole, Danielle, Sarah and Joseph.  Great-grandmother of Henry, Quinn, Penelope and Charlotte. 

Survived by sisters-in-law, Gisele Maurice, Anita Edgar, Rita Leddy, Diane Moreau, Rose Marie Fiaschette (Clair), brother-in-law Raymond Moreau. 

Pre-deceased by parents, Roland and Maria Maurice (Ladouceur), sisters Aline (Jerome) Jessome, Jeannine, Marielle Laurin (Ligouri), Odette Dignard, Marie Paule Lafreniere (Gord) and brother Gilles Maurice.  Cecilia Ritchie (Ken), Jack Edgar, Murray Leddy, Frank Moreau (Zita), Eugene Moreau (Josephine), Gilbert Moreau, and Clair Moreau.

Mom was a wonderful cook and baker.  She was an avid quiltor.  Her family were the centre of her world and she will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday, March 20, 2026.  A funeral mass will be held at the St. Patrick’s Church in Phelpston on Saturday, March 21 at 11 am.

Spring Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery Phelpston.
