Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland on Thursday, October 15, 2026.  Leona Desroches (nee Hocken) of Elmvale, age 94.  Beloved wife of the late Luc Desroches. 

Loving mother of Joyce (late Bill) Reynolds, Linda (Ross) Eccleshall, Nelson (Sue) Desroches, Annette Middlemass, Bonnie Isaac (Trevor), Gary (Kim) Desroches and Sandra (Dave) Grenier.  Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 24 great grand children.   Daughter of William and Reta (Crawford)  Hocken.  Pre-deceased by sister, Velma (Mel) French, Mildred (Leonard) Cadeau, Madeline (Henry) Forget, Phyllis (Ken) Truax, Margaret (Roy) Truax, Francis (Alda) Hocken, Clinton (Buck) Hocken, and Theresa (Grant) Ball.  Leona will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
