John Andrew Joseph Brandon passed away peacefully at Campbell House on April 13, 2026, at 82, with his loving wife by his side.

Beloved husband of 58 years to Susanna “Sue” Brandon. Cherished father of Kelly-Anne Brandon (David). Proud and devoted grandfather to Taylor, Jacob (Michaela), Brad (Joshua and Dane), and great-grandfather to Adam and Oliver. His grandchildren and great-grandsons were a constant source of pride and joy.

John will be deeply missed by his immediate family, extended family, and many friends whose lives he touched over the years.

A small community of water beetles lived peacefully beneath the surface of a quiet pond. From time to time, one would climb the stem of a lily and never return, leaving the others to believe their friend was gone. One day, one made the journey upward and was transformed into a beautiful dragonfly, discovering a world more vibrant and alive than ever imagined. Though longing to return and share the wonder, it was not possible. In time, the others would make the same journey and understand that what they thought was the end, was only a transformation into something far greater (Walter Dudley Cavet).
