It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom at 65 years old. After a courageous battle with cancer, Jayne suffered a devastating stroke that took her from us too soon. In her final moments, Jayne was surrounded and held by her children when she went to be with Jesus on Sunday May 24th, 2026 at the Campbell House in Collingwood, Ontario. 

Proud and loving mom to Christina (Thanga), Katie, Caleb (Adam), Josh (Emily), and Kara. Treasured “Nanny” to her precious grandbabies, Naomi, Natalie, Noah, Nora-Jayne, and Aloe. Cherished sister-in-law to Karen, Terri, Steve (Darlene), Kim, and Lynn. Adored “fur-mama” to her sweet dog, Rosie. She cared greatly for her nieces, nephews, extended family, church community, supportive neighbours, and very many loving friends. 

Jayne has been reunited with the love of her life, her husband of 39 years, Larry who passed in 2020. Predeceased by her mother Margaret, her father James, her brothers, Frank and Jimmy, her sister Jackie, and her two “rainbow babies”.  

“Jayney” made friends everywhere she went and helped others feel like they belonged. She loved flowers, animals, live music and the sunshine. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her spunk, for the way she lit up every room, and for being the life of the party. Her love for others that had no conditions, especially with her children and grandbabies, leaves a lasting impact on us all. Through every challenge, Jayne carried herself with immense grace and resilience, never losing hope nor her heart to care for others even in the hardest moments.

Jayne is deeply loved, warmly remembered, and impossible to forget. Though her time with us feels far too short, her encouraging voice and her light that she so generously spread will remain.

Friends are invited to join Jayne’s family at Lynn Stone Funeral Home, 15 Yonge St. S., Elmvale on Friday May 29th for visitation from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday May 30th at Hiway Church, 50 Anne St. N., Barrie at 11am.

 A private interment service will be held at Elmvale Cemetery.

 Donations in memory of Jayne can be made to Georgian Triangle Humane Society or Wasaga Christian Church for the Monday Night Community Meal.
