Passed away peacefully at the Georgian Manor in Penetanguishene on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.  Elva Trew (nee Brown) in her 103^rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Ronald Trew.  Dear mother of Jeffrey Trew (Cheryl, pre-deceased by Pat), and David Trew (Nancy Mendoca).  Elva will be missed by her daughter-in-law Heather Torrance.  Grandmother of Joel (Angela), Lindsey (Jordan), and Meghan (Wes).  Great grandmother of Grant, Eden, Kylie, Jacob, Jackson, Carter, and Archie.  Sister of Izzi and the late Joanie. 

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 11-1 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026.  Funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1 pm.  Interment Waverley United Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Daily Bread in memory of Elva.
