It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Michael Loftus, born May 14, 1958, and passed on June 13, 2025.

Beloved husband to Leslie and devoted father to Shane, Michael, Stephanie, Shelby, and Presley, and loving Papa to Braelyn, Colton, Johnny, Quinn, Elliott, and Barrett. Stephen’s love for his family was boundless and unwavering.

Stephen was a guiding light to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a true role model whose strength, generosity, and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His ability to uplift and inspire others through the example he set every day was one of his greatest gifts.

A deeply engaged member of his community, Stephen believed in the importance of giving back. Whether through quiet acts of service or larger contributions, he approached life with humility, compassion, and purpose.

As a co-founder of Innovative Automation in Barrie, ON, he was widely respected not only for his remarkable work ethic and determination but above all, for the warmth and sincerity of his heart. His legacy is one of integrity, love, and an enduring commitment to making the world a better place.

Stephen's spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched, as a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and leader. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 and 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.  A funeral mass will be held at the St. Patrick’s Church in Phelpston on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11 am.

Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery Phelpston.
