Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Thursday, February 25, 2016. Brenda (nee Columbus) of Elmvale, In her 56th year. Beloved wife of Gene Yawny. Loved mother of Kathleen (Jeff) of Toronto and Rachel at home. Cherished daughter of Jean and the late Jerry Columbus. Sister of Judy (Stu) Murray, Mark (Beulah) Columbus and Bonnie (Don) Newson. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and her many friends and co-workers.
Friends may call at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home, Elmvale on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Elmvale on Tuesday, March 1 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
Cremation with interment at Elmvale Cemetery.
