Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Friday, December 1, 2023. Jeff Columbus of Churchill in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Laurie Columbus (nee Alsemgeest). Dear father of Ryan, Joshua (Mina), and Casandra (Sam). Proud and loving grandpa to Adelaide. Pre-deceased by parents Charlie and Audrey Columbus. Brother of Tim (Dianne) Columbus and Ike (Cheryl) Columbus. Brother-in-law of Tonya (Ron) McConnell. Jeff will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Holly (Scott), Dan (Stephanie), Aaron, Adam, James, Holden and his great nieces and nephews. Son-in law to Martin Alsemgeest (Polly) and Margaret Alsemgeest (Richard). Jeff will be dearly missed by his many friends and extended family.

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 1 pm – 3 pm on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3 pm with a reception to follow at the Elmvale Legion.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital or the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Jeff’s memory.
