On Tuesday, September 19 at the age of 94, Shirley went home to be with her Lord, and Bill, her husband of 73 years. She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Peter Skala. She leaves her 2 grandsons, David and Phillip (Jason), and her nephew and his wife, Brad and Sharon Cook. Our sincerest thanks go to the staff at GBGH for their kindness and compassion.
In lieu of flowers it was Shirley’s wish in keeping with her love of all animals, donations be made to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, September 23 at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale. Visitation will be held at 1 pm followed by a funeral service at 1:30 pm.
