Passed peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Hospice Simcoe. Ken Bye of Barrie in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Linda Bye (nee Van De Bogart). Dear father of Bill Bye (Dawn Hershey), Kendra (Gary) Maseko, Ken (Rebecca) Bye, and Kari (William) VanLaarhoven. Loving Papa of Megan, Jade, Curtis, Hannah, Jaiden, Zoey, Taylor, Cameron, Isaac, and Oliver. Brother of Shirl Bye (John Kirby) and the late, Bert, George, Duncan, Walter, and Colin. Loving son of the late Alf and Dorothy Bye. Ken will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Saturday, June 25.
The family will be celebrating Ken's life on Sunday, June 26, from 2 - 4 pm at the Elmvale Legion.
