ROBINSON, CLARENCE HENRY

Passed away peacefully at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on Sunday, August 10, 2025.  Clare Robinson of Tiny in his 94th year.  Clare would always lend a hand to anyone who was in need. He was kind, funny, generous, stubborn and an all around “good guy!”

Clare was born in Toronto to Harry and Isabella(Mullen)Robinson.  Big brother to Jean. They were raised in the Junction(Weston/Vaughan road) area in Toronto. He went to York Memorial highschool.  He started a job in the mailroom at Canada Packers during school and worked himself up to telecommunications manager at their corporate office in Toronto.

 He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian Robinson (nee Meads).  Dear father of Jeffery Robinson (Martha Vargas), Jennifer (Richard) Minderlein, and Sandra Robinson (Mike Blom).  Loved Grandfather of Julia, Henry, Jordan, Jason, Andrew, and Adon.  Proud Great-Grandfather of Hudson, Georgia, Jackson, Irelynn, Claire, and Avery.  Brother of the late Jean (John) McIntyre. Brother in law to the late Harold (Marilyn) Meads.

We want to thank Kitty Burnett, 'the friendly neighbour' for all her love and support for the last 3 years.  Kitty was great company for Dad.

Clarence led by example, modelling kindness, humility and unconditional love.  He was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He lived a full life, his legacy is a loving and strong family he helped build with Lillian.  His family and friends will miss him everyday.  We love you papa.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
