HUBBARD, PETRONELLA "NELLIE" (nee VAN LAARHOVEN)

Passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.   Nellie Hubbard (nee Van Laarhoven) of Phelpston in her 76th year.   Beloved wife of the late Thomas Hubbard.  Loving mother of Nicole Hubbard (Jeff Pilon) and Megan Hubbard Middlemass. Grandma of Jaxon and Maxwell.  Sister of Mary Golds, Case (Debbie) Van Laarhoven, late Art (survived by Cheryl) Van Larrhoven, Francie (Glenn) Hall, Anne (late Bill) Dempster, Martin (Kathy) Van Laarhoven, Cora (late Charlie) Ware, and Agnes (Darcy) Duquette.  Sister-in-law of Marshall (Jiajia) Hubbard, the late John (Margaret) Hubbard, and the late Carl (survived by Irene) Hubbard.  Nellie will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbours.  To know Nellie was to love her. She had a kindness and way about her that could bring love and laughter to any room. Heaven gained an angel who loves like no other. 

A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 6 pm - 9 pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Funeral Mass 11 am, Wednesday July 9 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church in Elmvale.

Memorial donations in Nellie’s memory may be made to the RVH Foundation or Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Elmvale.
